I am getting readings from the iCarsoft scanner.
I recently applied silver paste to the connector contacts so I don't think it's the connector or wiring.
When running I get readings like this:
Manifold Absolute Pressure ----- 101.00kPa
Atmosphere Absolute Pressure ----- 98.60kPa
Charge Air Absolute Pressure ----- 57.60kPa

The problem is that with engine off I get readings like this:
Manifold Absolute Pressure ----- 97.60kPa
Atmosphere Absolute Pressure ----- 98.70kPa
Charge Air Absolute Pressure ----- 37.70kPa

The Charge Air pressure with engine off is only 37.70kPa. Per the WIS they should all be withing 10 kPa of each other.

I have two MAP sensors and they do the same thing.

The WIS online says that P1106 equates to an implausible (out of range) reading.

Could oil fouling from worn turbo bearings allowing oil into the intake tract cause this?

There is NO loss in performance. Oil level drops by a pint in 4,000 miles so oil consumption isn't excessive.

I might try a THIRD MAP sensor from another supplier just to see how that one performs. Is there another sensor for Charge Air Pressure somewhere?
