The BMW has no leather ? leather is far easier to care for with kids, you see a 3 series at every street corner and I agree about the growing kids and room (I sold my Audi S4 and got our 2001 Aero)
Acura - I know they're good cars, but I find their styling boring and you can't get a manual tranny, right ? (sorry, I don't like automatics OR auto-manuals). I used to swear by Japanese cars and especially Honda products, but I'm now a Euro-bigot (give me German or Swedish only)
Audi - Having owned 2 and currently own a TT roadster, I love Audis, but the A4 will cramp the kids in the backseat ala the bimmer. The next A4 will be larger but you don't want to wait and it will be higher priced IMHO than what you're showing.
Aero - IMHO the most car for the money (and I see from your list the most expensive of your options). I'm assuming it has leather, easy to care for with kids. I'm sure it has the most room for the kids, and if you haven't already, check out how the back seat folds (bottom comes up, allowing seat back to fold FLAT). I would go for the Aero, ours has been good initial quality-wise, I have heard that Saabs are good cars if you take good care of them (just like Alfas). So far I'm very happy with our '01 Aero...
Good luck !
