Saabs are great cars. I bought a new 1998 BMW 328i and drove it until last year. Great car. I loved it but I was ready for something a little bigger, a little more comfortable, but still fun to drive. With the great deals on cars everywhere I went to look at / buy a 530i. I was disappointed that they really weren't dealing much so I went and checked out the Saab 9-5 because they play in the same sand box. I liked the car and got a great deal so I bought a 2002 Saab Arc. If you are someone who would buy a Bimmer with the premium package instead of the sport package (I am) the Arc is the right car. I like the 6 cylinder motor with the mild turbo, lots of low end torque. The car is well built and has a lot more features then the BMW. It really feels more like a luxury car. Check out the Saab Arc. I think you will like it.
