I _strongly_ disagree that the Qs are the best winter tires for the Aero. I have a set. The car does perform admirably on slick roads and snow, and the ride is pleasingly soft.

However, they are far too soft for a car with this much torque and only FWD. I lose 1/8 inch of tread on the front tires for every 2000 miles of easy driving. That is totally unacceptable to me. The rear tires don't wear at all, that I can measure - after the first 2000 miles, the little rubber molding nubs were still present. The nubs on the front probably vaporized into greasy smoke the first time the TCS kicked in.

Also, the squishy sidewalls make for distressingly vague handling in dry weather, regardless of tire pressure.

My next winter tires will be Goodyear Eagle UltraGrip GW2s. They are FAR superior on a high performance car.
