Not sure if this is directed to me..., but here it goes...
I am disappointed with the sound quality overall. If listening at high volumes, then things are pretty good. However, at regular, day-to-day , "I'm stuck in traffic can't have it blasting for 30 minutes" listening levels, the sound doesn't seem to fill the cabin (radio, CD, cassette: all the same). This lends it an ON/ OFF quality that I find troubling.
I've said it before but my old Volvo (V70) 100W, eight speaker system was far superior in terms of sound "delivery".
If I had to guess, I would say that the system was designed for the sedan first, and calibration results returned a two woofer in the back set-up. For some reason, the wagon increases the volume but reduces woofer count to one... Something must have been lost in the process.
Then again, what do I know?
Thx
