1) yes.. the new amp would use as its input signal the speaker leads presently feeding the 6x9's.. You simply can tap/splice into these wires.
2) Ideally one would prefer to tap into the head unit by using RCA preout jacks and running them directly into your low level/RCA inputs on the new amp. Unfortunately SAAB, like most cars, do not provide PREOUT jack on its stock head unit. Add to that the fact that the low level signal going from the head unit into the factory external amp is a balance output signal, which is set up differently and prevents one from simply tapping into those. That is why most folks get an amp with high-level speaker inputs, as everything after the factory amp is a normal high level speaker signal. The other option is an LOC converter ($20-$50) which takes the speaker feed and converts it into a low level signal using RCA jacks. Then you run this into the low level inputs on the new amp.
3) Yes you can run the sub and 6x9's all off the new amp depending on a few conditions. (Check the ohm rating on speakers and amp.. make sure they match). Assuming the 6x9's are full range speakers, then you would want to get a 3 channel amp. 1 channel would drive the sub, and the other two would handle the 6x9s. Ideally you'd want an amp with an adjustable crossover and some type of output level control for the bass channel, otherwise you could end up with a balance issue between the sub and the rest of your system.
