My sentiments exactly. I have now seen three of them in the flesh and concur with the post below that for 50K, I want a car that looks like it, and not like it's 30 K younger brother, but then again, a 5 Series BMW looks a lot like a scaled down 7 series, and the E 320 looks very similar tothe S430 etc. There is only so much you can do with the shape of an automobile without getting outside of the bounds of practicality and build-ability. I am also contemplating the RL as my next car since I do not see Saab as ready to come out with the next "9-5" in way too long a time frame, if at all. The new RL is just chock full of features and seems like the nicest thing out there that would approach the BMW 5 series in features and value without the stigma of the BMW's butt ugly looks. I'm probably going to go drive onw in a month or so to see if it is as good in reality as it appears on paper.
