I guess in my mind, the aero IS Saab's equivalent to the TL. The problem is that not only is the current 9-5 getting long in the tooth compared to cars like the TL, but Saab has nothing even remotely close to the RL. More luxury for those of us who not only want good performance, but also a bit more luxury and refinement and quiet. Those are the features that make the RL appealing to me. I am starting to come to grips with the fact that the styling is bound to be uninspiring. It is from Japan. All of the major manufacturers are now making a common styling theme run through the entire product line, so Honda is not breaking new ground in this regard. I just wonder if the actual driving experience is as nice in the new RL as the amount of luxury and comfort.
