Thanks, JTMav. So far I am enjoying the TL. As good as it is, I feel the Japanese still have not quite nailed the majic suspension formula of the European manufacturers. Also, certain aspects of the interior are not quite as top notch as I would have expected. Interior is beautiful, but fit and finish are not up to the usual standards of Acura. Leather quality is well below that of the 9-5. Seat comfort is very good; the 9-5 was a definate 10.
On the other hand I feel reliability and durability should exceed that of the 9-5. Mind you, my 9-5 had a terrific reliability record, however certain design flaws were starting to show there ugly faces. Climate control fault 8, DIC failed on me, pulleys, A/C leaks, leaves getting in the blower motor, and the list goes on. I no longer wanted the threat of those problems. These are problems it is doubtful very few Honda owners will experience. When Saab designs there equivalent to the TL I will be back.
Bob
I loved my Saab, but GM gave me no reason to want to buy 2005 car that was designed and engineered in the mid 1990s.
