change more frequently. Timing of the full control over Saab is probably the reason for the 9-5's lifespan and the new 9-3, 9-2x, 9-7 as well. Unlike you I did go for a new '04 Aero after my 00 Aero hit 90k and turned it into a spare family car. (2 driving age kids and a 3rd soon to drive as well). I looked at the TL and the Infinity, but I ended up w/the Aero. I would have liked some of the new technology(admitted gadget freak) but in the end I loved the drive of the Aero and many of the technological advances aren't all that visible on the 9-5. I felt the TL was a bit "young" for me (I'm 53), but I can see why you went that way.
