Are we being objective about these cars????

I have had 3 saabs 78-99EMS, 84 900T , 88 base.
If I were to tell you the money I have put in these cars you may not believe it. $6,000 in the past 14 months on just the 84T. It still needs
a few things (thousand or two additional $$$). Then it needs to be painted I have saved the money for the paint but had to spend it on mechanical repairs. Now I am told the frame is not 100%. needs fabrication.
The past 2 weeks I have been driving of all things a 93 Chrysler Concorde
belonging to my grandfather who bought a new one and is selling the 93.
To my horror, shock, grief that car would eat any Saab I HAVE OWNED or
driven. Further it has almost 200k and has not had a tune up for 2 years.
Indeed it handles better, better mpg and the repair costs over 8 yrs are
virtually non existent. I would drive it cross country without a care.My
girlfriend says when I am driving a Saab I am constantly checking evertything worrying about every new squeak constantly monitoring temp&
oil guages.
I have spent a lot of time defending Saabs. I am beginning to think I am
only fooling myself.
Thanks for letting me vent!!!!!!!!
