I hate to tell you that but if the sub frame is really that bad I would not put another dime into it. If you just spent money on mechanicals, keep it as a work car. You'll never get your money back trying to sell it. If you just bought a new tranny, find another car in great shape in need of one and do a transplant. You can find excellent saabs with bad trannies very cheap. Don't let sentimental stuff cloud your judgement. As much as I love my spg..if the subframe was rusted out I'd call it quits. But then I'd buy a good clean '88+ spg from the classifieds and start over! If you can stand to drive the concorde..uh.. drive it!
