No, I'm quite aware gas leaking is NOT normal, and I didn't think any gasoline should be escaping from the FPR.
It was definitely dripping out of the FPR when the vacuum hose was loose fitting on the pipe nipple....and stopped when I trimmed the dried vacuum hose line back, and reconnected.
So I think that the FPR is faulty- likely the diaphragm has ruptured.
But now with this vacuum line reconnected, where is this gasoline going?
What's at the other end of the FPR vacuum line? ( I don't have my Bentley manual with me today - it's at home).
Should there be other symptoms from a faulty FPR? If so, what would they be?
Thanks for your help, Jim.
