Paid off Jetta, traded for my '94, car payments now go in house fund. I know I'm always too emphatic about it, but this is really as much car as anyone needs, if you like cars. Life is just too short for a fixed roof on a sunny day or starry night. I took a long, fast, twisty drive on my lunch hour today, slamming my car through corners (at speed limit), and the rush of downshifting at a redlight, with those glorious engine harmonics swooping in and hitting you full in the face... I was high for the rest of the day. However, I'm lucky to be blessed with a prince of an independent mechanic, and my car was well-loved by it's only previous owner. I like that I have one of the very last C's. In perfect shape, but looks reeeeally old. It's my "gentleman's express." Good luck with your careful search.
