I like my Saabs because they are good looking, fun to drive, and unique...however they are a pain at times, but then what old car isn't? My advice is to get a well maintained car, mileage is not necessarily the best indication of condition. In fact, if a car is 10 + years old the mileage could have been tampered with at any time, and a common fault with these cars is the odometer stops working and then starts again....Also, find a good mechanic who is passionate about them, they might be pricey but know a lot about what makes them tick. Also, buy a Bentley! Last word of advice is decide what you want and hold out for it. I have a white 1990 Turbo convertible with an auto tranny, which at some point I will swap for a 5 speed. Better a turbo engine than a NA one...also the 90s had driver airbag and abs....good luck!
