you didn't say how many miles (did I miss it?) but I'd say wheel bearings are on the front of the list. my 1986, 1987's and my 1990 all needed them. if you did the upper and lower ball joints, and you are going to replace the torn boot right? when the half shaft is out rotate the wheel bearing. It should not have any grit or grind feeling to it. it may be stiff, but no feeling like you are turning a safe dial. :) also, it should not be either leaking lube or dry. both are bad. And, if you are going to replace the CV joint boots consider looking at the complete half shaft replacments from eEuroparts. I did the math, and if I needed to replace inner and outer boots - I got the CV joint and the tripod bearing free - and I didn't have to assymble them either - just be sure to send the old ones back for your core charge deposit-
and maybe do the bearings just because.
