Thanks for the reply. I might start looking closely at other metallic blacks - sometimes a metallic can give some real depth. But that solid black often needs little else - and once I depart from the color code why stay with metallic at all? This is going to drive me nuts!

I just keep telling myself to be happy I've found a solid shell to play with - then I start thinking about paint . . .
