If you're having an idle problem, it's nothing to do with the APC system. That entire system exists before the throttle plate, and can't really have an effect on idle unless it happens to be the vacuum line to the cabin (pressure transducer, boost gauge, etc.). If you're having APC problems, that stupid cruise switch is a very good place to start... :)
As for fuel pumps, I have no idea. Saab conveniently never published the specs on any of those things. I'm guessing if one says turbo and the other doesn't, you want the turbo one. Walbro sells their pumps in liter-per-hour ratings, and a turbo at fuel tilt needs a lot more fuel than an NA... I'm guessing the NA will run the car, but probably isn't the ideal choice if you're doing any full boost driving, and ESPECIALLY if you plan on mods...
