Sounds like you need a Bentley book to do the H2O pump. You say that your fans don't always work. The #1 cause of overheating in C900s is by far and away fan failure. A very small leak may be tolerable for a while as long as you keep the system full of anti-freeze, watch the gauge and avoid overheating conditions (like traffic jams) but if your fans aren't reliable you have a ticking time bomb on your hands. The most common reason for fan failure is corroded or loose wiring connections, usually the connector(s) right at the fan(s). To trouble shoot the fan circuit you could start by searching posts on this board as there are a number of other causes of fan failure. Good luck
