I am working on the long bolt, below the alternator. It is the one that will hit the firewall before it is able to come out. The nut fell off of the end of the bolt, and somehow managed to lay on an engine mount and not become lost. The bolt itself, slid as far out as it could, up against the firewall, and took the rubber piece out with it. I can almost get the rubber piece to slide back in, allowing the bolt to slide fully in, allowing me to put the nut back on. All in an effort to get it to my saab mechanic so that he can make sure its all put together right.
The photo is of the hex end of the bolt. You can see that I have the rubber part, which I am assuming is the bushing, I have it started into the slot it goes into. Am I wrong?
