I'm not sure why my previous message did not go through. I made another today. Hope you get it. It contained the following message, along with my mailing address (which is not included in this public posting)
First of all, great job on your rust repair! I've been immersed in this project for the past couple of days, and it's nice to see that others like yourself have had to deal with similar issues. Your photos really help.
Just last night, I finished sanding away all the rust, and tonight I hope to treat the area and prep for painting.
And THANK YOU for the offer to send me the heat insulating material to replace that fiberglass bag. I'd love to take you up on that. Is it something you can send easily? Can I send you some money to cover shipping and material? Maybe PayPal could be a good way to handle that.
I'm eager to get the car reassembled (and out of my friend's garage!), and I had no idea how to replace that insulation material, so you've really helped me out.
