As I was leaving work last night in my '90 turbo vert, making a U-Turn to get out of the parking lot, I heard a loud BANG! and the car sagged on the driver's side. I looked under the car, and it appears that the lower portion of the S-Arm on the drivers side broke off.
I searched Saabnet C900 BB for Broken A Arm and found precious little information on this subject. Is this common on these cars? I've never heard of it before, and after putting over two grand into the transmission earlier this year, its making me think it might be time to dump this car. Kind of a shame, because the engine is great and the transmission is good too, but I'm starting not to trust the car.
Any advice? Is this going to be a complicated repair? Is it work doing?
