Rest assured that the procedures in those links will work. The actual Saab tool - which I have - is nothing more than a standard 10mm socket with some metal removed so it fits the nuts. It isn't chromed, not that that should make any difference.

There must have been a little cottage industry in Trollhättan making "Saab Special Tools" in garages or basements...
