Good, that indicates that the AIC is OK.
You might want to consider popping the valve cover off checking the cam timing. I hate to recommend something that might bring about the need for a new valve cover gasket, but having one of the cams off by a tooth might cause that problem.
For the test connector, try taking out the ashtray and the ashtray mount (4 small torx screws and a 12 (or is it 13) mm bolt. There was a post a few years ago indicating that the test connector was there on a '91 CV.
