Hi RS HI Not Noel,
Guess what I discovered after pulling the valve cover to check to see the condition of the timing chain? What I am about to tell you surprised the shit out of me and will you to. But let me start with the fact that I decided to check the chain tensioner to determine wether or not a problem existed there but I had a 8mm opening on the tensioner which is good since 11mm is the max allowed. Then I set the fly wheel to 0 to match the back plate then i checked the position of the cam sprockets and noticed they were 180 off with respect to their line up marks and so was my ditributor rotor off 180.I am perplexed to unsterdand why the engine ran . Tomorrow I plan to rotate the ditributor 180 and see what occurs. I read an article of a guy with a Jeep with the same situation i have and by god the thing runs.Cam sproket 180 out. I suppose I will find out If it does not backfire like a bad gun.
Talk to you guys soon
