It now runs great, but the electrical gremlin is back same as before. I'll have to remove the shifter counsel again to get at the 6 to 8 connectors on top of the ignition switch. Hopefully, even though the copper on the two I removed/replaced looked pristine, a thorough cleaning with mini file will solve this more permanently. Is there a different underlying problem? Maybe, but this what I can do, unless someone has another culprit that I've overlooked. I know, the ground on the A-piller. But I really don't think that is the problem, since this started when I replaced the drivers floor.
