I pulled the intake tubes and the clutch cover and everything looks all sorts of perfect under there. Brand new clutch by previous owner. That was as far as I got because it got dark out, and it's parked outside right now.

I do agree that it looks too nice to part out. The lower control arm areas are perfectly solid. There's some rust blistering out under the front floor boards, and lots of surface rust in the rear under the trunk. Major rust around the passenger tail light. You can see daylight out the trunk. Got an estimate for $2,000 for JUST the tail light area to be fixed.

I bought the car completely on a whim it was so cheap. If it ended up being a rust bucket underneath I'd part it out. If not I was going to put some elbow grease into it and flip it probably. I sure as hell don't need two of the same car. Didn't sign up for this outcome though! What's the going rate for a disabled Commemorative Edition? Haha.
