Ironically someone contacted me yesterday through the CE registry asking if I'm looking to sell either of my CE's. Well actually...

I've also made some phone calls and have decided IF I keep it I will have a 100k mile engine/transmission from Goldwing installed. I talked to a local exotic guy who sounded knowledgeable enough of c900's for me to be comfortable with handing over the project to him. My lifestyle right now is not conducive to DIYing this in a timely manner and I don't want to sacrifice half of my garage to a project of unknown duration, especially with winter approaching. Installed, I'd be looking at around $2,650. Need to decide if I bite the bullet and fix it now, in the spring, or just sell it at a loss.

I'm just as interested as you are in taking the covers off of this one to see what let go. I'd send it to you but I think I'd like to keep it as a core just in case I need any future transmission work. We'll cross that bridge when we get there though.
