Another C900 lost its life Posted by Ilovemountains [Email] (#1318) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Ilovemountains) on Tue, 2 Dec 2014 05:36:10 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Sad few days for me...
Sunday morning early I hit a deer then subsequently smacked head on into a utility pole with my 85 900s at at least 40mph... Im sure its totaled, the there was Red Line MTL running down the roll back and I couldn’t get it to come out of 3rd gear to get the key out. This is painful, the car was so clean and so well documented 0 rust etc etc.
The insurance company is coming out today, I had an agreed value policy on it which I would HIGHLY recommend anyone that is driving a C900 have on their car. Im going to have them work up a price for me to keep the car, Id really rather give people the chance to pull clean parts and even cut it up for body parts since it really is 100% rust free, it was garaged in CA its entire life before I bought it. That said, when I tried to part out a clean 88 last summer I couldn’t give parts away, so before I write a check to the insurance company to keep it I want some input. If its going to just sit in my driveway and rot Ill let them take it to their auction and hope someone else gets it.
Im just thankful my 5 month old was not with me, Im not hurt and no one else was involved....
