I just met with the insurance adjuster, insurance companies don't always tell you everything upfront. Apparently what I thought I had paid for and what I paid for are quite different. Ive been paying for an agreed value plan not a stated value plan. They said that an agreed value plan covers up to but not over the set price. The car is 3 years too new to show up in the classic guides so they are going off blue book. Before I blow a gasket myself Im going to wait for them to call me back with the final value / figure and go from there, based on what they are telling me it will probably be in the $500 range to buy it back, Im really just not sure I want to take it on, if it was a 16v turbo sure but being an 8v NA Im really on the fence. That said, its 100% rust free, this is its first accident ever, Hell even the dash only has one minor crack by the drivers side speaker. I really don't know what to do. The frame head is definitely bent, the skid plate strap things are quite bent as well which leads be to believe the entire front motor mount cross member is crunched. Once they are done I can then try to unscrew the hood latch post and see if I can get it open and really see where the trans oil is coming out from, it was such a great shifting / driving car up till Sunday morning!
