Hey VeeVacky --- I used to be a regular member, but you guys went completely crazy and elected me member of the year. So, I'm now "Used to be regular Landjet".......but, the Landjet is really the car, and not me.....There have been three so far....1973 911S, 1993 ComEd #291 and now 1981 900 turbo #9275 Bonneville land speed car.
Yes, it is Girly grease. That's why they make it red so you can find it in the dark.
I always use Girly grease when building anything with brake fluid on one side and air on the other. In fact, I'll take apart a brand new Saab clutch slave and make it Girly as fast as I can whip it out of the bigass jar.
The Moss Motors tube is only about 10 squirts for me, so I bought two bigass jars in the UK, and had my tool distributor ship several over here ( the UK ebay seller would not ship overseas). It's as Girly in the shop as you can get now. I'll never run out and can't wait to stick my fingers in it this weekend. We're doing a clutch job on a car and the slave is going to get buttered up with the good stuff.
Brake fluid is waaaaaaaaay too Manly for me --- I have to wear gloves when I finger that stuff, as it's toxic, but the Girly stuff is more friendly.
OK, back to reality........
