No, not exactly neighbors, as I'm about 13 hrs and 800 miles away from you in Salt Lake City.
I lived in Portland years ago, and still have family in Creswell and Hillsboro. I was just there in June, and I'll be back in November, on my way to Victoria, B.C. to see King Crimson in concert.
Seeing as how you are on a lowered suspension, I would caution you to exercise some restraint until such time as you have adequate undercarriage protection. Likely your shocks function more in rebound than compression, leaving you vulnerable to sudden dips in the road surface. While you are obviously an experienced driver, there is really no way to anticipate the random fluctuations of road surface characteristic of off pavement roads. One well placed rock or chuckhole could ruin your day. So maybe throttle back a little until you are armored up.
