Thanks for the suggestions so far. AIC and Bypass Valve both new within the last few thousand miles.
Landjet, oddly enough I have had an ongoing issue for many many years with the idle taking a HUGE dip when the fans kick on. Not when the A/C is on, only when sitting in traffic.
The car had the fans rewired by the dealer at some point in the 90's to both come on simultaneously as a TSB came out stating that due to the temp gauge rising to a higher level then some customers thought was normal.
Drives me nuts as while I realize that having both fans kick on is good for cooling, I have been told by more then one tech that the above is the trade off.
Not sure how to get it wired back to stock...don't know where to even look for where the wiring would have been reworked.
Any chance it could be the TPS?
Thanks for everyone's help!!
