Easy to check the TPS. It should make a 'click' when the throttle is slightly opened. With the engine off, manually turn the throttle bellcrank back and forth a few degrees and listen for the 'click.' It should happen just before the throttle is 100% closed. Pull the plug and put a volt/ohm meter on it and check that it electrically opens and closes upon the 'click.'
Best way to check for vacuum leaks is to pull the AMM off and stick the exhaust side of a shop vac into the large intake hose and pressurize the whole system. Then spray soapy water using a squirt bottle on all the intake/turbo/intake manifold/throttle body/PCV/vacuum line connections. If any of them bubble, you will have a vacuum leak upon closing the throttle at a stop. Extra unmeasured air entering the system (doesn't take much) at that point will kill the idle until something in the engine management system catches up with more fuel.
The dying at stop problem is pretty common and frustrating with the c900T but definitely can be fixed with some patience and attention to detail. You will find it eventually...
