Had no idea that I could put a 9000 alternator in. Already running an Optima Red Top battery in the car after figuring out the correct size that would fit with the turbo hear shield. Do you have to do any bracket modifications? Will definately run a extra substantial ground wire from the alternator to the block for the heck of it.
Will pull the fans when I have a free weekend and get them tested.

Saabina...
Will try that shop vac tip over the weekend. Throttle body has a little over 200K on it. Not sure about the TPS. On a separate note, was one of your cars up at Conntech late last year for service....a C900 CV?
