Yeah, I was afraid you were going to say that the piece came with the pump. I think it warrants a question to them just so you can make sure as if it isn't the right stuff, then count on it melting when in contact with the petrol.
It is stupid expensive, and I'm not sure why. And, that might be why it's in the with the pump as some bean counter would look at it and go --- "oh, look how much money I can save the company if I just use this hose that costs so much less" ..... kind of mentality.
As I recall there is supposed to be a stripe on the OD of the hose, and now that becomes another question I'll have to ask NAPA when I go back. Check Pegasus as well -- google gates 27093 and you'll find the stuff.
