This sounds about right. My friend, Ko back in PA gave me a call this morning and filled me in on the problem after he caught my post. Very timely. To answer your question, There were no elevations in coolant temps. The only sorta warning we got was that brief squeaking and burning smell that went away prior to the failing of said pulley.
