I already have a boatload of pics and stories to write about on our trailer trip. The latest update I have as of now is that we towed the car with a Uhaul truck and dolly to Tom French in Irving, Texas just outside Dallas. He quickly diagnosed the issue as a seized alternator. The belts were rubbing and burning against the pulley. That made total sense once he showed me.

We're posted up here in Fort Worth until tomorrow morning (Tuesday) when we pick up the car. The fix and the Uhaul is going to put a big hole in our budget, but it is a must if we are going to get home.

Will update as the days go on here...
