My mech found a hole punched through the timing cover in one of the channels in the bottom of the oil pump. He epoxied the hole to get oil pressure back so that I could drive it home. So far, so good. Now I have a replacement timing cover that I will install this week. Does anyone have experience with epoxy repairs? Can the car be driven low speed, short trips until repair? Suggestions/warnings welcome!
