I wouldn't trust epoxy in that environment - too much oil, too much heat. Make sure your low oil pressure light works! And keep an eye on it! If it comes on, stop the car wherever you are and get it towed home. If you're going to drive it, drive it gently (at least if it goes to less than 5 psi - about where the switch activates - you won't be taching high or loaded heavily). Best advice: Stop driving it until the cover is replaced. If you lose pressure and don't become aware of it immediately, you'll ruin the whole engine. Suspect broken teeth on the balance chain sprocket if it's a 91 or 92 (as the cause of the hole, that is).
