The '95CS has the '95 Aero-auto's ECU.
That ECU, when in the auto-Aero, would allow
a maximum of 12 Psi boost.
Installed in the CS, the Aero's ECU allows 16 PSI.
The way an ECU can tell if it is in a manual trans.
car is by a signal wire that goes through the gearshift
selector. When this line is open, the ECU changes programing.
There is a general rule-of-thumb that a motor
the size in the 9K's will make 5 more HP for every
pound of boost. So it appears that the CS, with
the Aero's ECU, is in the 225 HP range.
At this time, the '97 CSE is stock, no mods.
The motor will put out 12 psi of boost. Just
where it is supposed to be.
The CS is noticably quicker, stronger than the CSE, for now.
The performance of a stock Auto-Aero ECU in a FPT Auto-CSE will be
the same. Putting an auto-Aero's ECU in a 5-speed CS (with a BPC valve)
or a CSE, may result in Aero-like boost, as seen from my experience.
