FYI, according to the one page I have from the 94-95 ECU manual, pin 14 on the ECU is the recipient of the signal for automatic transmission:
"When the selector lever is moved to a position other than P or N, battery positive is applied to pin 14 of the control module and the control module is programmed for automatic transmission. Cars with automatic transmission have reduced boost pressure."
I wonder if an automatic car would give full manual Aero boost if pin 14 is disconnected, or if it would totally mess things up? I know that there is some correlation between the car's road speed, engine speed and the boost allowed, as a manual car will not give full boost in first and second gears. Well, I'm not going to be the one to investigate, I don't have an auto trans car!
