Castrol GTX was my oil of choice for many years. This car got a year or two of that, then switched to Royal Purple as touted by Bob Davis on this board a lot of years ago, and when that became hard to find M1 0w40, and lately 5w40. Good filters. It would idle 10-15 sec after start, plus as I would roll down the slope on my drive. Never jumped on it cold.
Do bearings affect oil pressure?
