Your car should have pre-drilled and threaded holes in the bumper. The OEM hitch simply bolts to the bumper and to the where the towing loop was (is) attached. If I remember correctly on my '94 CSE I had to remove the bumper to start the bolts but with my '98 CSE it slapped right on. I bought mine about nine years ago from Bageco (Bageco.com) for about half of what Saab wanted. Not sure if they still have them. Bageco is a curious family owned business that sells hitches and Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee at a discount.
There may be other after market sources but if you can use the pre-drilled holes it makes a neat job. You will also find a European trailer light harness if you dig around by the drivers side tail light/antenna area. You will need a converter for North American trailers. I only use my hitch for bicycles these days. Good luck.
