Well. I found out what the noise is. Now it's time to decide what to do.

Cyl 2,3 a little wet.

Crank Damage - Thrust Bearing Main - Why one sided damage like this? You would think the journal was out of round or something. That is strange.

I've got bad bearings. One bearings was knocking a bit, and the piston was hitting the head. The bearings don't have a brass backing. They are something else. Probably those tri-metal bearings I've read about.
Someone ran the engine out of oil.
So. Do I find a used crank or maybe a rod? Does anyone have one? Turn this crank? Just find another engine?
Are the tri-metal bearings special and the aftermarket bearings not hold up as well?
