Hi Bill and thanks.
I am not 100% sure how he went about it.
Right now I'm waiting to hear more from him as he had a course in mind, and it didn't seem very straighforward, so I asked about this here, in hopes that someone might have found a real gem of a source.
Truth be told, my '94 has a perfectly functional clutch slave.
As things stand (unless a better option shows up...) I think there will be much effort put into this until the mud stiffens up some, then my '94 will go there & have it's good one removed for re-use.
His opinion is that doing so will likely be only a temporary fix - so I am really, seriously hoping that a better source for a non-defective part will show up by some miracle, somehow.
It is terrible to think that the ONLY source for this part on the whole planet originates with Proparts, and that they are shipping brand new defectives.
This is a critical part & a better source is very needed.
