Well, I know where three of them are..... in my driveway/garage.
I've had a tough time finding rear brake calipers recently.
I got my green 97 CSE back from my oldest son after we bought him a new Subaru for his college graduation. It was in OK shape when I gave it to him but it's rough now. 4-way flasher switch broke (surprise surprise) and someone tried to get to it with a can opener by the looks of it. Dash top and speaker grilles are trashed. The rust free front fender has a big dent. DS interior door handle was broke (worn through). DS rear exterior door handle had the casting break.
As far as retorqueing head bolts, I just did my wife's CSE as it was leaking a fair amount of coolant from the DS front corner of the head. I did them one at a time and followed the factory procedure and it worked great. No coolant leaks.
I would not hesitate retorqueing the head bolts.
