Good news and bad news....
I can connect to the car on V44.000. I got into the chassis/ABS page and when stationary I can read the ABS values. The brake pedal force is being sensed and the wheel speeds are all showing 1 MPH. I cannot record data as the Tech 2 loses communication and will not reconnect until I shut off the car and start over. Once it loses communication it will not reconnect. I was able to monitor the real time values page for a short time while going slowly down an empty road. The sensors all ramped more or less evenly to 11 MPH and never went any higher. Even at 20-25 MPH they read 11 MPH. Then it lost communication again. It does not lose communication when monitoring the engine parameters, only the ABS system. I think if I can keep it communicating and take a copilot, I might be able to see something. Right now it just loses communication. I was powering the Tech 2 off the cigarette lighter plug and not powering the OBD II connector.
When I first read the DIC information it had "22251 Intermittent - Main Relay Circuit - Incorrect"
I cleared that. The battery has gone dead on this car several times from sitting too long. The code has not reappeared since clearing it.
