Just my two cents:

I think your price is definitely high. Look at your local ads and E-bay. '95 is not considered to be a good year and they are usually a tough car to sell (I have one). Even a pristine convert shouldn't be more than $5-5.5K.

IMHO if $$$ is tight (e.g. financing a portion of the purchase) and you need a reliable every day driver you might want to reconsider. SAAB's are wonderful vehicles and a joy to own and drive, but they require ongoing care and maintenace and can really hit you hard when you least expect it (trust me on that one). If you're a DIY'er and enjoy that sort of thing, you'll be in paradise. If you aren't and your time is limited it might be a bit more of a hassle than you'd prefer.

I have a V6, and while many on this BB will steer you away from them, there are many happy high-mileage V6 owners and I wouldn't necessarily avoid a low-mileage one with proper maintenence. They don't seem to have the sludge problem that some of the other engines have. Mine has ben rock-solid.

My 21 year-old niece was recently looking for a used car and loves my SAAB. I gently steered her towards a Toyota as she needed reliable, cheap ransportation at this time in her life.

Good luck!
