The reputation of poor build quality and reliability problems is yesterday’s news. We saw it on our previous Saabs, but not now. Since the 9-3 was introduced things have just kept improving (see the Powers best quality award for the 9-5 for example, or the British newspaper poll that put the 9-3 at the top of the heap). We have had our base 9-3 since February 2000. It is at 43,000 kilometres. Zero problems. And that distance includes a lot of rough road.

The posters feature problems for the same reason that novels always have villains. That is the interesting part. Why would you post to say that another month has gone by with nothing wrong?
